How to Add Sales Notification Popups to WooCommerce

WooCommerce gives you a powerful store, but out of the box it does nothing to reassure a first-time visitor that other people actually buy from you. Sales notification popups close that gap — and you can add them without a developer.

Why WooCommerce stores use sales notifications

A small store often looks the same whether it sells 2 orders a month or 200. Notifications that show recent purchases, a live visitor count, or a 5-star review make the page feel active and trustworthy — the same nudge that reliably lifts conversions by 8–15%.

Step 1: Install the widget snippet
